We took a morning walk out to the point, and came across a memorial cairn to James Cooks landing here in 1770. Clare braved the waters for a swim, before we headed off to Bundaberg, stopping only for supplies from a great bakery in Agnes Water. In Bundaberg, we visited the Botanical Gardens for lunch and a sugar museum in an old house. We are staying at a somewhat dodgy caravan park in town. Rob was trapped talking to a chatty fruit picking Turkish Victorian.
