Alvin Features: Solar Panels

Prior to departing on our around Australia trip, we had two BP 65 W solar panels installed. We had a local Melbourne company do the work, as Trakka themselves quoted double the price.
The panels charge a 105 amp/hr fully sealed house battery. We run mostly the 12 volt only fridge and some low voltage lights from the battery.
At first we had a fridge that ran too much, and a dodgy house battery that had been run flat too many times. Once we rectified both of these issues, we had a system that could keep us bush camping for up to a week. By that time we would need a good hot shower anyway.
