There is particular bathroom etiquette for particular religions (e.g. Islam) but on the whole you are free to do what you like, particularly behind closed doors. There are certain practices which are more to do with hygiene than etiquette (see hygiene section).

Some of the other etiquette issues that we have come across include:

• talking to others
• covering up noises
• using fans or sprays to cover smells
