Why Go:
- take walks to see the rugged coastline
Highlights:
- soaring cliffs and incredible rock formations
- dense forests
- brilliant wildflowers
- abunbent wildlife
- cascading waterfalls
- Fortescue Bay: a beautiful beach, and place to launch your boat
- Tasman Coastal Track: A multi-day walking track. A long days walk is from to Fortescue Bay from Pirates Bay along spectacular cliffs, or from Fortescue Bay to Cape Hauy. There are also many excellent shorter walks.
Eating & Drinking:
- bring along your picnic lunch if you are just doing a short day walk, or some serious dried foods and camping cooking facilities if you are doing a longer overnight walk.
- Make sure you bring lots of water, even though the weather is often wet and cold.
- Also take all rubbish out of the park with you when you leave.
