Bridgetown is a town in the south west of Western Australia, about 3 hours drive from Perth.

Top 10 Places to See and Things to Do

  1. Visit the Jigsaw Gallery at the Visitor Information Centre. Look around for the 'world's smallest jigsaw'. It is fun for the kids to stay a while and have a go at some of the jigsaws.
  2. Stroll along the main street and drop into galleries and cafes..
  3. Take a walk on the Riverside walk
  4. Pick up some information at the visitor's centre and take the self-guided Historic Walk around town.
  5. There is an Old Gaol and old homestead.
  6. Buy some food from the IGA and have a picnic in the park. There is a good playground on the main street, or cross over the bridge and picnic by the river.
  7. Join the huge crowds and visit during the Blues Festival. Make sure you book your accommodation well in advance.
  8. Hire a canoe from the Bridgetown caravan park and go for a paddle.
  9. Visit the Cidery for a nice lunch in the garden with a tasting plate of traditional ciders.
  10. Go to the lookout for views of the surrounding area.
