Donnelly River Village is an old timber-milling town that has been turned into a tourist destination, containing over 30 old wooden cottages perfect for a Perth getaway. The town is just over three hours south of Perth in Western Australia, nestled in the valley of the Donnelly River. The village was formerly officially known as Wheatley.

  6. walk up to the lake for a swim in Summer
  7. ride your bikes around the town or go mountain biking along the section of the Munda Biddi TrailĀ  that passes through Donnelly River.
  8. take a drive to one of the nearby towns.
  9. go bird watching or look for other wildlife.
  10. play some games in the games room.
